Gastronomia
Umbria is appreciated for its rustic kitchen. Olive oil, wine, truffles and ham are its most prestigious
ingredients. There are plenty of wine farms and olive mills to be visited.

We only mention a few:

The vineyards of Count Lungarotti, in Torgiano near Perugia are considered one of the leading properties in Italy. In the centre of the little village, the wine-grower dedicated a little museum to wine.

Olio Trevi, is a cooperative of approximately 50 Olive oil producers. There production recently obtained the ISO 9002 quality certificate from the European Comunity.

Il Castello della Sala, is a XVIth century castle that belongs to the Marquis of Antinori. The family produces wine for more than seven centuries.. this property is famous for its white called Cervaro della Sala.
