Visit Umbria

TODI and ORVIETO

Etruscan Orvieto, the stronghold of the Etruscan people, still preserves unique Etruscan monuments.

Not to be missed is the Cathedral, an astonishing example of Gothic art, with its Chapel of San Brizio, frescoed by the Renaissance Masters, Fra Angelico, Benozzo Gozzoli and Luca Signorelli, with scenes taken from the Last Judgement and the End of the World.

Added optional highlights to full-day Orvieto tour, are the Etruscan tombs outside the city (Necropoli del Crocifisso del Tufo) and the Etruscan Undergound Orvieto.

Todi is a charming medieval town that still retains an untouched Medieval past. Walking through its picturesque narrow streets it is possible to reach the famous central piazza surrounded by ancient palaces that make Todi one of the most renowned gems of medieval art and gothic architecture in Italy.
